RAC Satnav 220

Introduction

It is easier to transfer MP3 music to your Satnav 220's SD card if you have a card reader.  You can take the SD card out of the RAC 220, put it in the card reader, then copy the your MP3 music files onto the SD card using your PC.

You can however connect your Satnav 220 to your PC using the USB cable provided and transfer MP3 music directly to your Satnav unit. Before you can do this, you must first install the Satnav 220 drivers to your PC and then install Microsoft's Active Sync software. 

The driver installation will allow your PC to see the Satnav 220 unit and the Active Sync software will let you copy the MP3 files across to the Satnav unit.


Steps :

    1. Download and install the 220 driver "software" using the instructions provided

    2. Download and install the Microsoft ActiveSync software using the instructions provided

    3. Start using the Active Sync software to copy the music to you Satnav 220


You may find it easier to read and print the instructions first, then you can refer to them while you are installing the driver and the software.
